Banque Populaire launched a new communication campaign in the press and social media on May 12. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the bank’s values and commitments as a cooperative, locally-based institution dedicated to supporting the vitality of communities throughout France.
Grounded in concrete facts, the campaign positions Banque Populaire as a “Cooperative & Local Bank” and a true catalyst for regional vitality. This message resonates with the expectations of French consumers, 97% of whom believe it is important for companies to “contribute to the development of their local communities.”
The campaign showcases Banque Populaire’s concrete impact in all the different regions of France: from its cooperative business model and local money flows, to its support for the nonprofit sector, its role as a major employer, and its leading position as the No.1 bank for business organizations.
Every day, Banque Populaire supports the creation of 200 new businesses* in France. In 2024, the bank provided funding to 5,200 nonprofit organizations for a total of €60.8 million, and hired 6,257 new employees across all the different regions..
