Don’t want to miss any of the performances of our Para athletes in Tokyo? A short summary of the main results is available.

The morning of August 31 was prolific for para cycling in the time trial events: Loïc Vergnaud, supported by the Caisse d’Epargne Loire Drôme Ardèche and competing in the Paralympics for the very first time, won the silver medal in the H5 handbike men’s road race; a few moments later, Florian Jouanny claimed a bronze medal in the men’s road time trial H2 event. Florian is supported by Banque Populaire Auvergne Rhône Alpes

The para table tennis team comprised of Maxime Thomas and Florian Merrien, supported by Banque Populaire Alsace Lorraine Champagne and the Caisse d’Epargne Normandie respectively, has qualified for tomorrow’s semi-final in class TM3/TM4-5. Also tomorrow, and again in the semi-final of the men’s team event, it will be the turn of the current titleholder Fabien Lamirault, who will be aiming to win 2 medals in class TM1-2 in addition to his individual title. Good luck to them all!
