Cannes 2022 – Spotlight on films financed by Coficiné

Coficiné, a Group subsidiary specializing in financing the film and audiovisual industries, is number one in the European film financing market.

Seven films financed by Coficiné were awarded prizes at Cannes.

  • TRIANGLE OF SADNESS – the Palme d’Or, a feature film directed by Ruben Östlund
  • DECISION TO LEAVE – Award for Best Director, a feature film directed by Park Chan-wook
  • STARS AT NOON – Grand Prize, a feature film directed by Claire Denis, produced by Curiosa Films 
  • MOTHER AND SON – Higher Technical Commission (CST) Young Film Technician Prize awarded to Marion Burger for the film directed by Léonor Serraille 
  • TRIANGLE OF SADNESS – CST Artist-Technician Award to Andreas Franck, Bent Holm, Jacob Ilgner, and Jonas Rudels for the film by Ruben Östlund 
  • ONE FINE MORNING – Europa Cinemas Label Award at the Directors’ Fortnight, a film directed by Mia Hansen-Løve 
  • THE MOUNTAIN – Winner of the SACD prize at the Directors’ Fortnight, a film directed by Thomas Salvador
