Groupe BPCE intends to provide concrete answers to the concerns of civil society and of all its customers

The fight against climate change lies at the very heart of “BPCE 2024”, the new strategic plan adopted by Groupe BPCE designed to unleash the full potential of its cooperative, multi-brand and entrepreneurial business model in providing concrete answers – in terms of financing, investments or insurance solutions – to the concerns of civil society and of all its customers (individuals, businesses, investors, local authorities, and institutions) as they embark upon their environmental transition. During the European Sustainable Development Week, an event running until October 8, Groupe BPCE is reviewing its climate-change ambitions and actions, and invites you to visit its dedicated website to learn more about the initiatives taken by its companies to provide their customers with the best possible service.

For example, the Caisse d’Epargne Normandie is offering its customers financing, savings and insurance solutions in the fields of renewable energy, soft mobility, and energy efficiency in buildings. The savings bank is also involved in the financing of major offshore wind farm projects in its territory.

The Banque de la Transition Energétique, an energy transition bank created one year ago by Banque Populaire Auvergne Rhône Alpes, is dedicated to attracting inflows of green savings and to providing funds for initiatives promoting the energy transition in its territory. The bank notably provides support for industrial sectors and mountain and snow tourism that have embarked upon the energy transition process related to climate change.
