Entreprendre 2024: continued momentum in favor of business organizations!

Friday, 23 october 2020

140 participants, business leaders and professionals from the region, logged on to the Entreprendre 2024 web conference organized by the Caisse d’Epargne Rhône Alpes on October 14, 2020.

Contributing to the preparation of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games
The reason for this meeting: to enable SMEs and VSEs but also regional players in the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) to seize all the economic opportunities created by the organization of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The event started by focusing on the operational side of things to provide companies in the Rhône-Alpes region with all the information they need and to offer them the opportunity to submit their applications in the hundreds of calls for tenders to be launched between now and 2024 in various sectors of activity (catering, construction, hospitality, logistics, etc.).

Being present to ensure recovery
The meeting then highlighted the commitment of the Caisse d’Epargne Rhône Alpes to local economic players and its determination to support them in ways tailored as closely as possible to their needs: supporting them in the opportunities offered by the organization of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games but also helping them in their day-to-day activities to facilitate economic recovery. The exceptional speech delivered by Tony Parker, a sportsman and entrepreneur but also the Education Ambassador for the Paris 2024 Games, reminded participants at the end of the conference about the importance of the link between sport and business to boost the generation of positive synergies.

This event was part of the Entreprendre 2024 initiative launched at the end of January by the Banques Populaires and the Caisses d’Epargne designed to help VSE, SMEs and SSE structures to seize the economic opportunities offered by the hundreds of deals related to the organization of the 2024 Paris Games. After a series of initial dates scheduled at the beginning of the year, the initiative has now been relaunched in a form better suited to the context of the public health crisis (webinar and digital communications). Following an event organized by Banque Populaire Grand Ouest on September 22 and the web conference arranged by the Caisse d’Epargne Rhône Alpes, five new dates have been scheduled throughout France between late 2020 and early 2021.
