Euro 2022: the French Men’s Handball Team sets its sights on the double crown!

Thursday, 13 january 2022

After winning Olympic gold in Tokyo, the French team will be back in the tournament courts this Thursday, January 13.

The French team will be plunging back into the fray with their debut match against Croatia in the European Men’s Handball Championship held in Hungary and Slovakia from January 13 to 30. Despite a somewhat troubled preparation, the players coached by Guillaume Gille will be trying to notch up a further victory and seize a double crown after their victory in the Tokyo Olympics.

Despite being drawn in a tough – but manageable – group in the first round, the French men can hope to qualify for the main round of the event. After Croatia, the French team will face Ukraine (Saturday, 18:00) and Serbia two days later (Monday, 20:30).

The Caisse d’Epargne, which has been a partner of the French handball teams since 2015, is proud to be supporting Les Bleus in this new sporting adventure!
