On November 25 and 26, 2025, Groupe BPCE was present at the Adopt AI summit, which took place at the Grand Palais in Paris. On this occasion, Nicolas Namias, CEO of BPCE, presented his vision on the fundamental role of artificial intelligence in the transformation of the banking sector. As the official partner of the event, Groupe BPCE reaffirmed its commitment to the development of the AI ecosystem in France and Europe. During these two days, the group’s experts were also able to share the latest advancements made in generative AI.

VISION 2030: a strategy in support of major transitions

The strategic plan, called VISION 2030, aims to position Groupe BPCE as a key player in financing and supporting major societal transitions, particularly in the field of AI. As the second banking group in France and the fourth in the euro area, Groupe BPCE is committed to supporting a changing economy, with a particular focus on technological innovation.

Within Groupe BPCE, AI is integrated at all levels, from supporting technology companies to transforming the services offered to clients. The group is investing heavily in the development of the necessary infrastructure for AI development, particularly through the financing of data center solutions.

A massive adoption of AI in service of clients and all employees

“AI will be present if adoption is maximized,” clarified Yves Tyrode, Chief Digital & Payments Officer at Groupe BPCE, who also spoke at Adopt AI. The group has indeed launched several initiatives to integrate AI into the daily practices of its 100,000 employees.

In particular, the “AI for All” program has enabled more than 50,000 employees to become active users of AI through our secure internal tool, MAiA.

A massive adoption of generative AI tools
50% of our 100,000 employees use MAiA on a daily basis. This goal that the group had set for the end of 2026 has been achieved one year ahead of schedule.

Moreover, AI is also used to transform the group’s professions. For example, 75% of our advisors already use AI through several tools specifically designed for their activities, while AI solutions integrated into the mobile applications of Banques Populaires and Caisses d’Épargne enhance the digital experience of the group’s 12 million clients.

Towards an ethical and responsible AI

Finally, Nicolas Namias emphasized the importance of ethical AI. BPCE Group is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients’ data and adopting a multi-LLM approach to avoid relying on a single technology.

"We must be a trusted partner in the AI revolution"
Nicolas Namias, CEO of BPCE.

The Adopt AI summit was thus an opportunity for the group to demonstrate its leadership role in banking innovation, ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow through a thoughtful integration of artificial intelligence.
