Groupe BPCE at the European Company Sports Games!

After Bordeaux in 2023, the municipality of Calvià (Majorca) hosted the 25th edition of the European Company Sports Games organized at the end of June. 150 employees from the Group took part in the event.
A total of 4,000 participants from across Europe (with Mexico as this year’s guest of honor) gathered in a spirit of competition and fair play for three days of sporting events covering nearly 30 disciplines. Among them, nearly 150 employees representing more than 10 entities proudly wore the colors of their companies and the Group.
When it comes to results, the employees representing our Group delivered a set of outstanding performances. Medals were won in women’s handball (gold, see below), padel (gold, silver, and bronze), men’s football (silver), swimming (three silver medals and one bronze), running (one silver and one bronze medal), and table tennis (silver).
Our women’s handball players have real talent!
The members of Groupe BPCE’s women’s handball team, the reigning world champions, successfully defended their title as European champions. For this year’s competition, the digital media outlet Le Média Positif, in partnership with Groupe BPCE, followed these employees as they juggled between their careers in a banking group and high-level sports competitions, producing three videos shared across Le Média Positif’s social media channels.
