Groupe BPCE employees in the starting blocks for Paris 2024!

Nearly 150 employees took part in the Olympic Day organized throughout France.

The aim of ‘Olympic Day’, a 2-day event staged on June 22/23, was to get the whole of France on the move, offering the general public an opportunity to try out a host of sporting disciplines and (who knows?) discover a new passion.

As a premium partner of Paris 2024, Groupe BPCE was whole-heartedly involved in this weekend celebration of the Olympic movement and its values. Nearly 150 Group employees took part in events organized around France, including some 50 volunteers at Place de la Concorde in Paris, transformed into a huge sports arena for the occasion. The public was able to discover the different activities, take part in the Run Paris 2024 race, celebrate sport in general and, of course, enjoy the friendly atmosphere. And there was a further bonus for five of the Group’s employees: drawn by lot after the race, they were given bib numbers as the first runners qualified for the general public marathon event of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games!
