Natixis (Groupe BPCE) is proud to announce its support for the Musée Jacquemart-André as a major patron of its exhibition “Georges de La Tour. From Shadow to Light” which will open from September 11, 2025 to January 25, 2026.

The exhibition will highlight the work of one of the greatest French painters of the 17th century, who fell into obscurity after his death, was rediscovered in the 20th century and is still rarely exhibited today.

Influenced by the Caravagist revolution (a pictorial movement of the first half of the 17th century that emerged in the wake of Caravaggio’s work), Georges de La Tour (1593-1652) is known for his mastery of chiaroscuro, which he was able to appropriate and reinvent, particularly in his candlelit paintings. He expresses his talent in realistic and intimate scenes of great intensity.

Natixis supports cultural institutions, particularly in painting and music, to offer access to a wide range of masterpieces both past and present for a broad audience.
Natixis also actively strives to contribute to the transmission of culture and to foster tomorrow’s talents.
