Nearly 2,000 employees Groupe BPCE’s companies in the Paris region took part in the Odysséa Paris race in support of the fight against breast cancer.

The pink wave swept again near the Château de Vincennes on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October for the 2024 edition of the Odysséa Paris race. At the same time, a connected race allowed the most remote or unavailable people this weekend to participate, between September 30 and October 13.

In total, 45,000 participants took part in this vast mobilization movement and 1 million euros was raised for the benefit of research, via the Gustave Roussy Institute.

2nd prize in the Challenge du Cœur

This mobilization, organized by the Essenti’elles network with the support of the Group’s Communications department, led to the participation of 1,700 registered members in 12 teams of BPCE and the Banque Populaire banks*. For the third year in a row, the Group won 2nd prize in the Challenge du Cœur (‘Challenge of the Heart’) competition for the best corporate mobilization in terms of number of participants.

BPCE also made it to the podium in the 10km timed race, as the winner, Benjamin Maisonneuve, was registered with the BPCE-Les Essentielles team.

Also present in the village, Caisse d’Epargne Ile-de-France, a partner of Odysséa Paris since its creation, has mobilized a team of 250 employees.
