Paris 2024: Banque Populaire du Sud presents its team of athletes

Under the slogan “I dream 2024,” Banque Populaire du Sud is helping 13 athletes prepare for their participation in this forthcoming worldwide sporting event.

In its capacity as a Premium Partner of Paris 2024 by virtue of its membership of Groupe BPCE, Banque Populaire du Sud will provide customized support to 13 promising young athletes up until the Olympic & Paralympic Games to be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11, 2024 and from August 28 to September 8, 2024.

A symbol of social inclusion and diversity, this team is comprised of local able-bodied and disabled athletes, both men and women, established medal-holders and young hopefuls.                               

The Bank is already considerably involved in the world of regional sport with a number of different operations such as:

• The partnership with the Montpellier Decathlon Elite association,
• The ‘Entreprendre 2024’ program designed to help local companies reply to calls for tender related to the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024,
• The ‘FORme’ program focused on its employees to encourage the practice of sport,
• ‘POP-SPORT,’ the e-agency devoted to all individuals whose main source of current or future income is, or will be, derived from the practice of a sporting activity,
• And, more recently, the partnership with the Montpellier Beach Volleyball club.
