As a Premium Partner of the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024, Banque Populaire Occitane continued the positive momentum of the Entreprendre 2024 initiative on Friday, April 16.
Everyone has a chance
The bank staged a meeting with its corporate customers, SMEs, micro-companies, and entities active in the Social & Solidarity-based Economy to present the initiative designed to help them seize all the economic and employment opportunities related to the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024. And there’s a good reason for this! A total of 150,000 jobs will be created for this unique event and 90% of the contracts have yet to be awarded in many sectors of activity: catering, cleaning, waste management, logistics, tie-in products, etc.
Making the most of the region’s potential
But above and beyond the calls for tenders published on the Entreprises 2024 and ESS 2024 platforms, Paris 2024 also promises a wealth of opportunities for all regional players, generated by the Terre de Jeux 2024 label and the implementation of the Games Preparation Centers. The economic prospects afforded by the Olympics haven’t escaped the notice of Banque Populaire Occitane! Several towns in the region (Blagnac, Revel, etc.) will benefit from the Terre de Jeux 2024 initiative to bring more sport into the lives of the French, especially in rural areas… and a dozen communities such as Albi, Auch, Montauban, or Villeneuve-sur-Lot are already listed as Games Preparation Centers. 600 sports facilities and reception centers in the region will be renovated in order to welcome the champions and athletes of the future.
Banque Populaire Occitane, more than ever at the heart of the sports economy, is committed to serving its local region, sport in general, and its customers.
