Groupe BPCE attended the 80th congress of the Union sociale pour l’habitat (Social Union for Housing), held in Paris from September 23 to 26.
For the 80th edition of its congress – the annual gathering of social housing professionals in France –the Social Union for Housing decided to highlight the sector’s adaptability under the heading: “HLM rent-controlled housing: a French model.”
It was natural that the Caisse d’Epargne, a key player in the social housing sector supporting 87% of the low-income housing bodies, should attend the three-day event that was marked by several highlights: meetings with customers, the signature of financing agreements and partnerships for several Group companies* and the presentation of the 3rd HLM Innovation Trophies. The Caisse d’Epargne sponsored the prize in the “social action” category and awarded it to Domofrance for its community-based commitment to women in difficulty in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region.
