An expert in real estate guarantees and insurance1, CEGC is part of the business unit within Groupe BPCE specializing in insurance activities.
CEGC’s mission is to assume all or part of its clients’ risk to enable them to bring their projects and transactions to a successful conclusion.
Its ability to honor its commitments and support real estate clients as they navigate market changes puts CEGC in the position of a benchmark provider of insurance and guarantees.
CEGC strives every day to offer a high-quality service combining effective digital solutions and personalized support from its experts in three main types of service offerings, primarily focused on the real estate sector:
The aim of the different insurance industry professions is, naturally, to promote peace of mind; as such, they have adopted a CSR2 approach. CEGC strives to make this CSR approach as open and useful as possible to everyone. As a trusted guarantor, CEGC puts its actions into perspective with a view to promoting more sustainable growth. It scored 80/100 in the EcoVadis assessment, a guarantee of responsible commitment and a place among the top 2% of French companies, all sectors combined.
(1) Insurance company governed by the Insurance Code and approved by the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution, ACPR) – Insurance sector.
(2) Corporate Social Responsibility.
In 2024, CEGC focused its sponsorship policy on three main areas: supporting access to housing, supporting solidarity initiatives, and encouraging sports activities.
CEGC supports three elite rock climbers: Oriane Bertone, Paul Jenft, and Naïlé Meignan, a sport that shares common values with the CEGC spirit. Paul Jenft and Naïlé Meignan have entered into the Performance Pact* with the French Sports Foundation, a support contract that allows athletes to pursue their twin sporting and professional goals with peace of mind. Oriane Bertone has signed a sponsorship contract. This commitment, which provides peace of mind for the athletes, has taken the form of a unique and comprehensive adventure for CEGC employees.
CEGC works alongside associations that campaign for access to housing for people in vulnerable circumstances. In 2024, it strengthened its commitment to the SOLIHA movement by signing a skills sponsorship agreement in addition to a €10,000 grant awarded in 2022 to the National League Against Substandard Housing (Ligue Nationale Contre le Taudis, LNCT). Throughout 2024, the Federation benefited from the expertise and financial analysis skills of 19 volunteer CEGC employees, who dedicated 190 hours of their time.
(*) The Performance Pact helped finance part of the sports preparation of young hopefuls with a view to their potential selection for the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024.
