AI for all: more than 40,000 employees are users

At Groupe BPCE, we see AI not as a simple technology, but as a real tool at the service of people, capable of improving and simplifying the daily lives of our employees. In this sense, the internal generative AI portal is a lever for operational efficiency and the development of opportunities for everyone.
MAiA, Groupe BPCE’s internal generative AI portal
Launched in 2023, MAiA was first rolled out to a select group of testers. This evaluation phase made it possible to refine the portal by taking into account the needs and expectations of our employees. Today, this internal generative AI portal is accessible in all Groupe BPCE entities, providing all employees with tools, information and training in a secure and adapted environment, taking into account the specificities of each business.
Mass adoption
Our goal for 2026 is to deploy generative AI tools for our 100,000 employees, with a target adoption of 50%, supported by an adapted training policy. This objective is in line with the massive deployment underway, since more than 40,000 employees are already using generative AI tools within Groupe BPCE, testifying to the enthusiasm for these tools and their daily usefulness.
Generative AI is becoming a standard and we need to bring it securely into the daily lives of our employees. It is with this conviction that we launched our AI for All initiative.
Supported by a policy of training and acculturation
To support its employees in the appropriation of these new tools and promote the responsible use of AI, Groupe BPCE offers a comprehensive training program, developed in collaboration with experts. These modules are designed to fit seamlessly into the professional environment of our employees, while being tailored to each target audience..
