Cannes 2023: Natixis Coficiné remains a regular attendee

Three films financed by Natixis Coficiné were selected for the 76th Cannes Film Festival, including for the Palme d’Or.

Three films financed by Natixis Coficiné were selected for the 76th Cannes Film Festival, including for the Palme d’Or. 
Coficiné has specialized in the financing of the film and audiovisual industries for more than 30 years and, as the market leader in film financing in France and Europe, is a regular attendee at the Cannes Film Festival. 
20 films supported by Coficiné were presented at the festival in 2023, including 7 in the official selection. Three of them won prizes awarded by the jury chaired by Swedish director Ruben Östlund: 

  • The Palme d’Or went to Anatomy of a Fall, directed by Justine Triet, produced by Les Films Pelléas-Les Films de Pierre, distributed by Le Pacte. 
  • The Best Director award went to The Pot-au-Feu, directed by Tran Anh Hung, produced by Curiosa Films, distributed by Gaumont.  
  • The Grand Prix was awarded to Zone of Interest, directed by Jonathan Glazer and distributed in France by Bac Films.
