The Crédit Coopératif has signed a partnership agreement with the Centre-Val de Loire region with a view to distributing the “Cooperating for my region” passbook savings account in support of the region’s economic and sustainable development.

Savers in the Centre-Val de Loire region can now play an active role in their region’s ecological transition by investing their money in the “Cooperating for my region” passbook savings account1 launched by Crédit Coopératif and the Centre-Val de Loire region. The money saved by its customers will enable the Crédit Coopératif to grant loans to the companies, cooperatives and associations in the region that are actively working on projects to promote the ecological transition in this part of France. The “Cooperating for my region” Centre-Val de Loire savings account has been awarded the Finansol solidarity finance label.

The savings account also contributes to the objectives of the regional energy-climate Communication on Progress (COP) launched in 2019 by the Centre-Val de France Region to encourage as many citizens, companies and associations as possible to mobilize their energy at a local level in the face of the climate and social emergency and to work together to build “a more resilient region in the face of the climate emergency.”
