Groupe BPCE confirms its role as a trusted partner for local stakeholders by partnering with the 2026 Metropolises Summit (Sommet des Métropoles). Co-organized by French media La Tribune and BFM, this inaugural event was held on September 30, 2026, in Paris.
This unprecedented summit brought together key public and private stakeholders. The objective: to debate and propose concrete solutions to adapt our regions and cities to climate disruptions. The discussions focused on the major transformation challenges involved in designing the metropolis of tomorrow: climate, energy, housing, mobility, security & cohesion, and smart cities.

Groupe BPCE’s participation was highlighted by the intervention of Valérie Combes Santonja, our Chief Impact Officer, during the round table “Energy and electrification: metropolises at a time of choices.” During this panel, she recalled the crucial challenge of energy transition and regional electrification, as well as the contribution and solutions implemented by Groupe BPCE’s companies and business lines to support local public stakeholders. Through its support of this event, Groupe BPCE reaffirms its long-standing commitment to local actors.
