Natixis and La Banque Postale create an AM leader in Europe

The agreement to combine the two companies’ fixed-income and insurance-related activities, first announced in December 2019, was signed on June 28, 2020

This combination marks the creation of a front-ranking European player with more than €415 billion in assets under management for major institutional clients (at the end of May 2020). It is expected that the combination within a joint venture of the fixed-income and insurance-related businesses of Ostrum Asset Management and La Banque Postale Asset Management will be completed in Q4 2020, subject to obtaining the necessary approvals from the competent regulatory authorities.
