The 6th edition of the Innovate Your Bank Challenge continues to go from strength to strength! We take a look at this key moment in Groupe BPCE’s work-study campaign and the opportunity it provides to raise the Group’s profile and that of its companies among young people, students, and their schools.

Students mobilized to imagine the bank of the future

Organized by Groupe BPCE and Atlas*, this year’s challenge demonstrated once again that students share a strong interest in the challenges and transformations facing the banking industry. A total of 950 students from over 150 different schools and universities across France took part in the competition and teamed up to imagine the future of banking. A total of 237 projects were submitted, focusing on four themes central to Groupe BPCE’s strategic priorities and challenges:

  • The banking relationship reinvented with AI,
  • Gamification in banking apps to help young people to improve the way they manage their budgets, savings, and more…,
  • The appeal of banking careers, boosted by the younger generation,
  • How to increase the impact made by customers to encourage more responsible and socially conscious behaviors with regard to savings, loans, and insurance.

Attracting young people and introducing them to careers in banking

For Groupe BPCE, this challenge provides an additional opportunity to attract new talent, raise awareness of its business lines and key challenges, and push its own boundaries by welcoming the visions and recommendations of young students to help build and imagine the bank of the future.

Congratulations to the winners!

In the final round of the competition, the four short-listed teams pitched their projects to a panel of senior managers and experts from the Group.

Congratulations to the IAE-MBX team from IAE Lille, made up of Pauline Delassus, Alexane Noyez, Lise Legrand, and Charline Peru, who took first place on the podium.
