Palatine recently announced the 5th intake of the Palatine Women Project, the personal mentoring program it has set up for elite athletes, an initiative enabling the bank to reassert its commitment to sport and women’s entrepreneurship.
We now know the identities of the 10 elite athletes in this new intake: Aude Amadou, Élodie Clouvel, Caroline Colombo, Marine Fatou Camara, Laura Georges, Jessye Gomesse, Léa Jamelot, Aurore Kassambara, Valérie Marqueton, and Mélissa Micaletto will now receive nine months of dedicated support from Palatine as they pursue their new life projects and/or career transitions.
What does this mean in practice? In order to help them launch their initiatives and see these ventures flourish, the recipients will enjoy access to support from a personal mentor chosen in line with the individual’s specific needs, along with advice from experts in career transition. Members of this incubator will also benefit from a tailored schedule and master classes provided by specialists partnering the program on topics ranging from legal fundamentals, online reputation and digital tools, business structuring, and taxation.
The program provides a genuine opportunity for the female athletes in the incubator to receive support and guidance as they develop their projects.
The Palatine Women Project, launched in 2022 to encourage women’s entrepreneurship, has already supported since its inception a total of 26 athletes in their professional careers.
Examples of this support include Maé-Bérénice Méité (figure skating), who launched a networking platform in the sports sector, or Audrey Prieto (wrestling) who has found new ways to balance professional life with school breaks. Myriam Benadda (MMA), for her part, has created her own women’s combat sports brand. These are just a few examples of what has been accomplished thanks to this program and a long line of successful initiatives.
