The Caisse d’Epargne Normandie launches Nautibanque, a bank dedicated to sailing and the world of the sea in Normandy, with the signature of a partnership agreement with Normandie Maritime.
The Caisse d’Epargne Normandie, a major player in its region’s economic development, is setting up an entity dedicated to maritime activities, a sector of strategic importance that helps to assert Normandy’s prestige and ensure its economic development. With Nautibanque, the savings bank is committed to providing players in the maritime world with all the expertise they need, thereby helping them along their path to growth. These players will find all the support, advice, products and services they need, tailored to their business activities and to their various investment, innovation, and energy transition projects.
As a founding member of the Normandie Littoral investment fund, the Caisse d’Epargne Normandie is also strengthening its presence alongside players in the blue economy with the signature of a partnership agreement with Normandie Maritime (1), enabling it to play an active role in its partner’s mission to promote, develop, and coordinate the activities of the maritime industry.
Through Nautibanque and this new partnership, the Caisse d’Epargne Normandie is pursuing its ambition to become the preferred banking partner of the maritime and inland waterways industry in all its diversity with, notably, shipowners and port logistics players, other river- and sea-based activities such as tertiary services, shipbreaking, shipyards, stevedores, distributors, traders, charterers, shipowners, port operators, equipment manufacturers, marine energies, etc.
This new Normandy-based entity specifically dedicated to the maritime sector completes a project launched by the Caisse d’Epargne Côte d’Azur with expertise more specifically dedicated to yachting, and by the Caisse d’Epargne Bretagne Pays de Loire for all players in the maritime world in its catchment area.
(1) Normandie Maritime brings together more than one hundred and fifty players in the maritime economy. Its aim is to promote synergies between them, enhance their competitiveness, and increase their visibility. The scope of its activities covers three main areas: shipbuilding, ship repair and ship dismantling, maritime services and works, and yachting and pleasure boating.
