“We have chosen to place Data at the service of the close, local dimension and the intimacy of the relationship between our customer advisers and their customers.”
This was the message delivered by Laurent Mignon in his speech at the first Data Conference organized by the Netexplo Observatory under the aegis of the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance, and Economic Recovery.
Alongside senior managers from other major groups (Orange, Saint-Gobain, Air France, Engie, Michelin, PSA), Laurent Mignon and Yves Tyrode presented Groupe BPCE’s vision, strategy, and best practices regarding Data. After reviewing the profound digital transformation carried out within the Group, Laurent Mignon spoke about the Data orientation chosen by BPCE at the service of its customer advisers and in favor of commercial dynamics.
Yves Tyrode, for his part, described the measures taken by the Group with regard to data democratization and the consultation process carried out in this area with all the Group’s different entities.
The final points discussed were data security and the need for customer confidence in how their data will be used. “We’re doing a lot of work on the question of consent, informed and reversible consent,” concluded Laurent Mignon.
