Activities

The range of services and expertise provided by Banque Populaire du Nord is delivered through the legacy brands and entities that, together, comprise the banking institution, namely: Banque Populaire du Nord, JPM Banque Privée, Crédit Maritime Seine Nord, and Banque de la Transition Énergétique (Bank of the Energy Transition).

Banque Populaire du Nord, a regional cooperative bank whose capital is owned by more than 118,000 cooperative shareholders, is part of BPCE, the 2nd largest banking group in France. With a staff of 1,100 employees, it currently serves 349,800 customers in the Nord, Pas-de-Calais, Somme, Aisne, and Ardennes départements and maintains a strong regional presence through a network of 121 local branches, 3 wealth-management branches, and 8 business centers.

Committed to preserving water resources, Banque Populaire du Nord contributes to the endowment fund of the Nausicaá aquarium and marine discovery center within the framework of a project aimed at restoring the salt marshes in the Baie d’Authie in northern France, to help to protect the coastline from flooding. It also supports the Conservatoire d’espaces naturels des Hauts de France, a non-profit natural heritage association in the Hauts-de-France region of northern France that works to restore wetlands and protect regional wildlife and plant life.

Sport & Patronage

In 2025, Banque Populaire du Nord is supporting and lending its name to the first edition of the Course des Caps Boulogne sur Mer Banque Populaire du Nord, an IMOCA sailing race starting and finishing in Boulogne sur Mer. This major sporting event, which perfectly aligns with the Bank’s long standing commitment to sailing and its dedication to protecting water and marine environments, attracted more than 100,000 visitors to the race village.

At the same time, the Bank continues to support athletes Anaïs-Mai Desjardins (kite foiling) and Erika Sauzeau (para rowing), both of whom received its support during the 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
