The range of services and expertise provided by Banque Populaire du Nord (BPN) is delivered through the legacy brands and entities that, together, comprise the banking institution, namely: Banque Populaire du Nord, JPM Banque Privée, Crédit Maritime Seine Nord, and Banque de la Transition Énergétique (Bank of the Energy Transition).

Banque Populaire du Nord, a regional cooperative bank whose capital is owned by more than 123,000 cooperative shareholders, is part of BPCE, the 2^nd largest banking group in France. With a staff of 1,200 employees, it currently serves more than 355,000 customers in the Nord, Pas-de-Calais, Somme, Aisne, and Ardennes départements and maintains a strong regional presence through a network of 120 local branches, eight corporate business centers, and eight private banking centers.

Committed to preserving water resources, Banque Populaire du Nord contributes to the endowment fund of the Nausicaá aquarium and marine discovery center. It also supports the Conservatoire d’Espaces Naturels des Hauts-de-France, and Voies navigables de France in their efforts to preserve four local ecosystems:

• Ecological restoration of the marine ecosystems of Wimereux by the Nausicaa endowment fund
• Ecological conservation of the Aubigny-au-Bac marshes by the Conservatoire d’Espaces Naturels des Hauts-de-France
• Safeguarding of the Escaut river regional nature reserve by the Conservatoire d’Espaces Naturels des Hauts-de-France
• Combating invasive alien species on the Sambre river by Voies navigables de France, within the framework of the Fondation Terres d’Eau.

Banque Populaire du Nord has also been awarded Great Place To Work 2026 certification.

Sport & Patronage

Banque Populaire du Nord is the local face of the Banque Populaire sailing partnership, backing the Hauts-de-France Sailing League and clubs across the region to help make the sport accessible to all.

It also gives its name to the Course des Caps Boulogne-sur-Mer Banque Populaire du Nord, an offshore race for IMOCA-class monohulls starting and finishing in Boulogne-sur-Mer. The next edition of this competition will be held in the summer of 2027.
