Activities

Caisse d’Epargne Côte d’Azur reaffirms its position as a bank that is Azurément utile (or ‘Azurely useful’, a play on Assurément utile, or ‘Assuredly useful’) and one boasting deep roots in its local communities. It serves over 615,000 customers – including more than 170,000 cooperative shareholders – through a retail banking network comprised of 131 branches and advice centers, and thanks to the dedication of its 1,553 employees located in the Alpes-Maritimes, the Var, and the Principality of Monaco.

In its capacity as a full-service universal bank, it serves the needs of all types of clientele – individual and professional customers, businesses, entities active in the social and solidarity economy, institutions, and local authorities – and boasts specialized expertise in the region’s key sectors such as tourism, healthcare, viticulture, water sports, real estate, and wealth management.

True to its cooperative business model, it reinvests local savings in the real economy and, in 2025, it raised €1.8 billion to help people with their life projects and support regional economic development. It also supports its clients in environmental and societal transitions by offering responsible and sustainable solutions tailored to the region’s specific challenges.

Patronage, Culture & Sport

Caisse d’Epargne Côte d’Azur is a socially committed cooperative banking institution and, as such, contributes actively to the general public interest and vitality of its geographical region. In 2025, it allocated nearly €840,000 to corporate philanthropy initiatives, providing €119,685 in support of seventeen local projects promoting social solidarity, inclusion, the self-reliance of vulnerable groups, and the environmental transition.

It also pursues a cultural sponsorship policy aimed at ensuring that everyone enjoys access to culture and enhancing the region’s appeal, notably by supporting the Nice Opera, the Toulon Opera, the Nice Jazz Festival, and initiatives promoting young talent such as Talents & Violoncelles (‘Talents & Cellos’).

At the same time, it supports local sport through its sponsorship of clubs, community-building events, and elite athletes such as Élodie Lorandi, Fabien Lamirault, and Léo Bergère.
