Caisse d’Epargne de Bourgogne Franche-Comté, a regional cooperative bank, is pursuing a strategy of ambitious and responsible growth at the service of all its customers, supported by the strength of its financial position.
Building on the long-standing values shared with its cooperative shareholder customers and rooted in its status as a mutual bank, Caisse d’Epargne de Bourgogne Franche-Comté is a universal banking institution serving all types of customers: individuals, professionals, businesses, local authorities, entities active in the social and solidarity economy, associations, and real estate professionals.
Boasting strong roots in its local area, Caisse d’Epargne de Bourgogne Franche-Comté is constantly innovating to adapt its offering to specialized customer segments. Located in the heart of a world-renowned wine-growing region, Caisse d’Epargne de Bourgogne Franche-Comté many years ago created a wine banking division, Vitibanque. This sector-specific approach has been replicated in other areas of activity, notably in the health and medical-social sectors through its Health Expert Center.
Aware of current and future challenges, as well as its regional impact as a leading economic player, Caisse d’Epargne de Bourgogne Franche-Comté is fully committed to a corporate strategy aimed at “combining usefulness and sustainability.” Through its positive impact (1pact+) program, it pursues the twin objectives of being a sustainable bank and a socially responsible company.
As such, responsibility, local presence, and quality are the forces driving the development of CEBFC that relies, above all, on the expertise of its 1,625 employees working through its 169 branches and four business centers.
With its strong regional roots and cooperative values, the Caisse d’Epargne de Bourgogne Franche-Comté plays a major role in corporate sponsorship and patronage activities. For many years, it has supported iconic sports clubs (JDA, ELAN, DFCO, AJA, USON, ESBF, etc.) that help enhance the prestige of the region and play an important social role by helping sports players with their professional transition. More broadly, it also finances numerous local facilities to promote greater access to sports.
CEBFC is also a corporate sponsor and talent scout, supporting a large number of cultural events such as the D’Jazz Festival in Nevers and local artists. Every two years, it provides young students at the Dijon Conservatory with a cello made by a local luthier. It also works alongside a large number of competitiveness clusters contributing to the dynamism of the local economy.
