Caisse d’Epargne de Midi-Pyrénées plays a key role in society, notably by financing the social and solidarity economy (SSE) sector, local authorities, and social housing. It is active within its local ecosystem, supporting a large number of initiatives promoting social inclusion and reducing inequality. It is a key player in the dynamism of its regions, financing the construction or renovation of infrastructure and facilities needed for education, health, and mobility.
In 2025, Caisse d’Epargne de Midi-Pyrénées launched, within the framework of its strategic plan, a series of conferences on impact entitled: “Entreprendre ensemble, pour construire demain autrement” (Working together, to build our future differently). These discussion sessions, focused on sustainability and issues related to regional transformation, are designed to foster collective intelligence and bring together business leaders, decision-makers, economic and institutional stakeholders, and experts with a view to addressing topics affecting our region.
The first edition of the Impact Conferences, dedicated to the challenges of regional sovereignty, was held right in the heart of our region in Marciac, timed to coincide with the opening of the ‘Jazz in Marciac’ festival.
The second conference was held at the Halles de la Cartoucherie in Toulouse, for an evening focused on sport, well-being, and collective commitment. This new edition explored, in the presence of prominent guest speakers and experts, the challenges facing sport in the Midi-Pyrénées region: inclusion, equal access, health through sport, innovation, and support for elite athletes… all topics that make sport a powerful engine driving the appeal of this region in southwestern France and local development.
