Activities

For more than two centuries, Caisse d’Epargne Ile-de-France has charted a determined course, driven by a consistent ability to adapt. Its corporate mission finds expression in the support it provides to its customers at every stage of their lives and in the pursuit of all their projects.

Today, with renewed ambition, it continues to combine economic development with societal responsibility. In its capacity as a cooperative bank deeply rooted in the Ile-de-France region, it puts its expertise to work for the benefit of the region’s economic players, with its support ranging from home energy renovations to the financing of renewable energy projects.

Through its ‘Local Roots’ program, Caisse d’Epargne Ile-de-France finances concrete projects designed to foster community ties and solidarity. In particular, it supports ‘Impulsion’, an association set up to develop educational, athletic, social, and cultural initiatives aimed at preventing all forms of dropout, particularly from school. It also supports several sports clubs in the Île-de-France region, such as Stade Français Basket, Stella Saint-Maur Handball, and the Drancy Rugby Club.

It is also involved in ‘Boost au Féminin,’ an initiative run in partnership with the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Paris) designed to encourage entrepreneurship among women. It has also teamed up with the Public Institution of the Parc et de la Grande Halle de la Villette to create a space dedicated to birds, contributing to the preservation of biodiversity and raising public awareness of nature in the city.

Sport & Patronage

Caisse d’Epargne Ile-de-France is a major player in corporate philanthropy, having twice been awarded the Grand Mécène de la Culture (“Major Patron of Culture”) prize by the French Ministry of Culture. Its long-term commitment enables it to build trusting relationships with cultural and social organizations in the region.

Its policy is structured around three pillars:

  • Promoting access to culture, including support for the educational programs organized by the Comédie-Française since 2007,
  • Combating social exclusion, notably through the Soupe Saint-Eustache and funding for a kitchen that improves the distribution of 300 meals daily during the winter,
  • Supporting health and research, for example through the Gustave Roussy Institute.

It also sponsors athletes – Maxime Grousset (swimming), Kauli Vaast (surfing), and Solenne Piret (para-climbing) – and promotes access to sport for young people.
