Sylvain Petit

Head of Strategy

Sylvain Petit has been head of Strategy since 2016, he reports to the CEO of BPCE from 2023 and has been a member of the Executive Management Committee since June 10, 2026.

He began his career in 1992 at Compagnie Bancaire (Banque Paribas). In 2000, he joined the Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne as Head of Financial Engineering before being appointed Head of Capital Management. He joined Groupe BPCE in 2009 as Head of Capital Management until 2012, then advisor to the Chief Financial Officer.

Since 2016, he has been Head of Strategy and has reported to the Chairman of the Management Board since 2023. In addition, he is a member of the General and Supervisory Board of the Portuguese bank Novobanco, a subsidiary of the Group since May 2026.

Sylvain is a graduate of École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris.
