BPCE officially joins the first Coalition of Committed Companies for Caregivers, initiated by the Landoy Club alongside 17 major companies.

A societal issue

Caregiving is a major social and economic issue. Today, 11 million French people support a dependent loved one, including 5 million declared employees. By 2030, 1 in 4 employees will be a caregiver.

Invited on February 11 to the morning event “Caregiving at work, addressing the challenges of longevity” at the Ministry of Labor, in the presence of Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet, Minister of Labor and Employment, Cécile Tricon Bossard, HR director of BPCE, participated in the round table “Helping and working, what solutions?” She emphasized the importance of “evolving corporate practices, improving them based on employee experience, to offer better tailored solutions.”

Concrete initiatives

This is an opportunity to recall the existing initiatives to support and assist employee caregivers: BPCE launched a remote work agreement in October 2024, allowing for the granting of additional remote days. Moreover, the donation of days off is possible in certain companies within the group, and Natixis Interépargne has begun initial tests in “care management,” particularly through the “Prev&Care” platform. Finally, the HR department of BPCE is implementing a support and listening group and will benefit from the support of a caregiver circle, “AllyCare,” initiated by several employees to promote mutual aid and the sharing of experiences.

This commitment marks the first step toward a collective awareness of this social and economic issue: a strong signal in favor of a more inclusive company that acknowledges its talents in all their diversity.
