The Paris 2024 Olympic Flame made a memorable visit at the BPCE Towers. A unique occasion during which Gaël Fickou – International rugby player (XV French team), centre position for Racing 92, athlete ambassador of the group – and Cécile Le Moigne – employee of BPCE – alongside Nicolas Namias, CEO of BPCE – had the honor of carrying the Flame, great symbol of Paris 2024 and to illuminate the 30th floor of the BPCE East Tower, towering at nearly 180m above the rooftops of Paris.
Combine commitment and solidarity
The second highlight was BPCE’s collective Olympic Torch relay stage in favor of Trans-Forme, the French Federative Association for Transplanted and Dialysis Athletes, organizer of the Course du Cœur (Race of the Heart). The opportunity for Nicolas Namias, numerous group leaders and 14 members of the association to set off together for a few hundred meters and thus bring a strong visibility to the mission initiated by Trans-Forme: raise public awareness of the need for organ donation, the health benefits of sport, and finally promote medical research.
Less than 10 days before the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, this event celebrates 5 years of commitment of Groupe BPCE and all its companies!
