Racing 92 sets up a semi-final against the Saracens

Friday, 25 september 2020

Racing 92 recently beat Clermont Auverge (27-36) at home in the quarter-finals of the European Rugby Champions Cup.

The team coached by Laurent Travers is now in the last four of the European championship. The Racingmen, current leaders of France’s Top 14, will be challenging the Saracens, who beat Leinster (17-25) at home in their semi-finals match. The two teams have already confronted each other in the group phase. Racing 92 first beat the Sarries (30-10) before narrowly losing against them in England (27-24). So which team will be moving on to the final is anybody’s guess! The date of their confrontation is already fixed: Saturday, September 26th in the Paris La Défense Arena.

Actively supporting the Racing 92 rugby team since 2007, Natixis has accompanied the club as it won a series of major titles. Natixis is proud not only to have seen the team evolve over the years (it won the Brennus shield – the trophy awarded to the winners of the French rugby union league – in 2016 in exceptional circumstances in Barcelona in front of a crowd of 98,000 spectators, and has competed in two European Cup finals in recent years) as well as to support one of the foremost training centers in the TOP14.
